Get back in the zone — and stay there

NESTA-certified Sports Mind Coaching for athletes working through the yips, slumps, and performance pressure.

As a NESTA-certified Sports Mind Coach, Pattie works with athletes at every level — professional, collegiate, and high school — to break through mental blocks like the yips and slumps, and build the focus and confidence that let physical training actually show up on the field.

Pattie has worked with professional athletes, including players connected to the Arizona Cardinals organization, alongside collegiate and high school athletes working toward scholarships.

What This Covers

Conditions this category helps with

Baseball Mindset

Baseball is a game of inches played mostly between the ears. Mental training helps you show up locked in, pitch after pitch, at-bat after at-bat.

Baseball Slumps

A slump isn't a mechanics problem, it's usually a mind problem. Mental training helps you break the cycle and get back to your natural game.

Golf Mental Toughness

Golf punishes overthinking more than almost any other sport. Mental training helps you trust your swing again, especially on the green.

The Zone

Every athlete knows the feeling: the game slows down, everything clicks, and you're just there. Mental training helps you find that state on purpose.

The Yips

The yips can end careers, but they're a mental pattern, not a permanent loss of skill. Mental training helps athletes take back control.

Her Approach

How hypnotherapy helps

It isn't really a physical problem

A block like the yips isn't really about mechanics — it's stress and frustration taking over the mental and emotional parts of performance until the physical execution breaks down with them. Golfers see the same pattern in a missed putt that leads to doubt, then a tense grip, then another miss.

Training the subconscious like you train your swing

Sports Mental Training uses hypnosis and visualization to work with the subconscious mind directly — the part holding onto the memory of a bad outing and the fear of it repeating — helping athletes regain focus and confidence rather than just "trying harder."
